When did you stop bleeding?

I'm 2 weeks PP and haven't stopped yet. I know it's normal but man it sucks. And doesn't smell the greatest. My fiancé says going to the bathroom after me is gross because it smells bad

Your fiancé is a jerk for saying that, you birthed a human, shit isn't supposed to be unicorns and rainbows down there for a while. Don't worry momma, the bleeding (and smell, which is totally normal, as long as it doesn't smell infected) will go away in a few weeks most likely. I bled for 7 weeks after I had my daughter, but everything healed perfectly. ❤️

I agree that he is a jerk for saying that! After my emergency csection I could barely get up out of the bed to go (once they took the catheter out). I couldn't wipe myself either because it hurt so much to bend and I had IVs in both hands. My husband had to wipe me. I would apologize to him every time, a billion times because it smelled like blood so bad. He just told me I was silly and that it didn't even smell. I know he lied to me, because I know it did indeed smell. But he wasn't there to make me feel bad, he was there to help me. And make me feel better. Im 3 weeks 3 days postpartum and still bleeding. It stopped for a few days and then started again. It's not a lot, but it's enough for me to still wear a pad (thin one)

I stopped around 2 weeks. I drank a lot of water, I'm exclusively breastfeeding, and try to take it as easy as possible. I feel like that played a big part in why I stopped bleeding so quickly.

I stopped bleeding at 5 weeks pp had a week break then started my period, which lasted almost 3 weeks! So annoying! X

Wow that's awful! Anyways I stopped actively bleeding at 4 weeks pp. I'm 5 weeks pp now and if I do too much at a time I will start spotting but only enough to wear a panty liner.
