Switching it up (pill to implant?)
I've been taking Alysena pills for about a while now (maybe since grade 9 even, oh god, 4 - 5 years???) and I have such a horrible memory, I forget one here and there and I find if I double up like I'm supposed to all it does it make me feel sick.
I've used codoms with the 2 guys I dated but me and my new boyfriend don't really like them (so pull out) but every time I miss one its just a whole rush of anxiety for me (I even was off them for a month because of a stress induced period due to school)
I totally thought about nuvaring, three weeks at a time, no pill... But that's still a lot of remembering and I think it's kind of gross to take that out after three weeks.
Does anyone have an opinion on the birth control implants? Like the little one that goes in your arm? Coverage for three years seems like something I can handle & when I go away to school next year I don't know how I would keep up with my pill prescription anyway...
