1 baby early U/S later 2?

Has anyone had an ultrasound around 7 weeks and they only saw one and at a later ultrasound discovered twins??? Very curious. I'm completely happy with one baby but I'm reading sometimes that happens. At 7 weeks they did an ultrasound and saw one baby one heartbeat and she said she checked for twins but she kind of quickly swiped from one side to the other. Just wondering if anyone had a similar experience and had twins. 😊😊

Yes, this happened to me. I went in at 9 weeks and only say one baby and one sac. The doctor told me what a strong heart beat it was, and I can start telling people. I was shocked. Turns out, it was one twin hiding behind the other likely making the two normal heart beats look like one strong one. I went in at 12 weeks for genetic screening, and it was clear as day that I had two sacs and two healthy babies wiggling around in there. I yelled out immediately, there are two! Sure enough, I have two completely healthy (so far 🙏🏻) babies growing exactly on pace. A moment my husband and I will never forget.

Same thing happened to me! First ultrasound at 10 weeks doc said one baby but i had a feeling there are twins, (still dont know, still think there might be another lol) had heartbeat check at 14 weeks and found it immediatly and super loud, so now im even more skeptical. Lol let me know what you find out!
