Maternity leave? ?

Anyone from Florida go on maternity leave and received funding for it?? Not to sure if my short term disability will pay for it. Here in florida they don't pay for maternity leave and I'm freaking out.  I'dk how I'll pay my rent for 8-12 weeks without income.  Advice? ??

I live in Florida, for my job they use my paid time off hours I've saved first after that I have to use short term disability. So if your job doesn't offer paid leave the next best thing would be to get short term disability.

I live in Florida and my employer offers 6 weeks of paid leave. I think it depends on your employer and not the state.

It's like that everywhere in the US. It's awful. Hopefully that'll change. Other countries have paid leave. My job doesn't offer maternity leave either, so I have to save up all of my vacation and sick days just go get any time off with my baby after he/she is born. It's heartbreaking.
