Induction

Well, had my first cervix check today. As I thought, I'm not effaced or dilated. We did however schedule an induction date of 3/10! My due date is 3/16, but he will be out of town that week so that's why we went with the 10th. Next week he wants to see me every other day to strip my membranes and "bother" her. Has anyone else had a successful induction when you weren't dilated or anything? Thanks!
