Called out my last day of work before maternity leave! Woke up at 1am having contractions, packed and prepared and labored at home til 5ish, arrived at the hospital 6cm dialated, went up to 9cm in 3 hours or so, decided to get the epidural at that point (the contractions were painful but definitely bearable, I just decided I'd rather be more comfortable). Doctor broke my water and I pushed for a little while, then they let me labor down for an hour or so, then I pushed a bunch more til he came! Overall way less scary than the movies make it out to be. 8 lbs, glad he didn't come any later. We still have to figure out his name though, any suggestions?!
