When is the right time?

Question

I really would like to know when do you ladies think the average time for a person to move on is? (Hope I worded that correctly) How long do you think it takes the average person? Do you think that "to forget about someone else, you have to have someone else"? I'm just curious to know.

I tend to move on quickly. My line of thinking is "If they don't love me enough to be in my life, then I shouldn't waste my time being upset over that."

I generally allow myself 3 days out of respect for the relationship and time we spent together. But after that I move on.

It always took me a month to move from one seriously relationship to the next. I guess all of my love for them came out of my uterus in the form of a period, and then I'd get a new boyfriend. But I married my 3rd serious relationship, so now my love for him comes out of my uterus as a baby, and we keep it and the love grows. Sometimes I don't know why I say weird things.

I moved on from my last boyfriend immediately. I literally felt so much better once we weren't together, that I had no problem getting over him. I was so relieved. And I did start saying right away, but only because suddenly,  I was on the map to cute, single guys suddenly, and since I'd never had that happen before, I figured I'd enjoy some casual dating.

I read somewhere it usually takes someone twice as long as the relationship was to move on so if it was six month then it'd take a year to move on. I don't think that's right though haha

Depends on the relationship I mourned the breakup with my first love like the death of a loved one for two years lol it was pretty pathetic. I finnaly meet a sweet funny guy who got me out of the rut but we only dated about 4 months it didn't work out less then a month afte that I started dating my now husband. I didn't have strong feelings for the guy inbetween so it didn't take as long to get over I guess
