Should I tell him?

I'll be getting brain surgery in a couple of weeks, in the beginning of March. I'm so nervous because I'll be in there for two weeks. I've been talking to this guy for 6 months. We stopped talking for three weeks because he had stuff going on but my question to you guys should I tell him I'm having surgery. I really like this guy. We've done some stuff that makes me like him even more (sexual) stuff but I'm still a Virgin ladies. Lol 

So I'm debating if whether or not I should tell him he has told me he cares about me many times. I just don't know because you never know....to think I was planning on losing it to him soon and now with the news I got it may not happen at least not now 😔 he lives about half an hour away from where I live since I live on campus at my college I'm 23 he's 30.
