Anyone have a CSection with a doctor your not used to?

Question

Anyone had a regular OB and moved or they retired, or anything and you had to get another doctor to do a csection?

Were you scared ? How did you handle accepting it.

I moved over an hour away from my doctor and got another doctor. I've seen my previous doctors for 10 years who delivered my other 2 kids. I'm seeing someone new who I've been going to the last 3 months and I'm scheduled for a csection. The other thing is my other docs were woman and this is a guy. Any thoughts ? You think I'm over thinking? Maybe I should be calm?

I moved from California to Missouri the ob I'm going to has different doctors and I don't have a set one yet so I have no idea who will perform my csection to top it off I'm high risk so I'm super scared and nervous I have 30 days until my scheduled csection :(

My first delivery became a urgent csection had a resident dr do the surgery. She was great actually offered her last name as a name for baby, Jasper, lol

I had a random dr do my emergency c section. It was a man, not my usual female dr. I actually enjoyed how assertive, take charge, and confidence he had. He took the situation and made me feel taken care of. I was in the OR alone because my husband was on his way.

Once you are in you will just be focusing on that baby and hearing the first cry :)

I'm still at my regular office for this baby.unfortunatly there are six doctors and two nurse practitioners in the practice. I have a doctor that I am not used to at all for my section next month😕 I'm a little nervous because the doctor I had last time (2nd section)had also done my first section and a laparoscopic surgery on me as well,so We know each other well.Im trying to remain positive and listen to all the great things others say about this new doctor and my next four appointments until I have the baby are booked with her so maybe we will bond? Lol
