My husband is on me about everything sometimes I feel controlled by him! I have changed so much since we've been together and married from the way I dress(no tight jeans, tee shirts, but covered) to who and how I talk to friends and family not telling his business! and even not speaking to old aquantices. He says I need to be transparent because he does those things but I changed my number, he didn't old girls have texted and he has talked to old flames, he post half naked pictures on social media, I had to remove all celebrities because that is groupish, he had keep important things from me about bills not me I'll be told off!!! Help is it control or protection

he us very very insecure which is why he feels the need to control you. He wants to be the only focus of your life. This is a very fearful man. They say we create what we fear and if he doesn't stop this that us exactly what he will do. One day you will get so sick of it you will leave him !!! I don't get why he doesn't see that . You having interests and friends in noway makes him less important on your life but everything makes him feel threatened.  You guys need some serious therapy for this :(

he is controlling. stop allowing a man to put stipulations on u lol that he doesn't follow. my husband "tried" notice i said "tried" because i wasn't having any of it unless he followed his own advice which he did. A man will TREAT you the way you. Yes, YOU ALLOW

Sounds controlling not protective. You need to stand up for yourself and let him know how this is affecting you and the relationship. Remember it's 100/100 not 50/50. You both have to give and take 100%. If he expects something from you he needs to be willing to give it too!

It's some serious control issues. You need to stand up to him. There's a difference between mutual respect for one another (agreeing not to talk to exes, being slightly more conservative in dress) and being told what you HAVE to do. Don't put up with it-- it will just get worse.

That's control. Maybe it's because he's evil or maybe it's because he's insecure but does the reason really matter? The fact is you are your own person, marriage isn't you signing ownership of yourself over to another person. Please don't waste your life living it a way you don't want to! Please!

Sounds VERY controlling to me. I have a similar situation with my SO but he doesn't talk to people (male or females- he's VERY introverted and it's like I'm his only friend) and he just got social media but doesn't put many pictures of himself on there and has even posted in MONTHS. Anyways he doesn't want me having "friends"/"acquaintances" because I have cheated (a few times 🙈- but that's a whole different story- and he's forgiven me of all the times because of the circumstances) in the past which is understandable.  But he does have a prospective on what I do because he wants the best for me and even though sometimes I get mad at him for putting his views on me, I see it's because he's trying to protect me and doesn't want me cheating again. So I say talk to him and se why he's being this way. I hope this helps 💕
