Hair dying???

Hello I'm 13 weeks pregnant and my hair is in desperate need of a colour is it ok to dye hair when pregnant, do you have to be at certain weeks or has anyone done it etc please

My hair stylist said it's fine (she has had two kids and doctor told her it was okay to dye). She said if you're still concerned you can always go for highlights instead and ask the stylist to avoid your scalp (keeps chemical contact to a minimum) or you can use a "safer" home dye like Madison Reed.

Its okay to do, as long as you are in a well ventilated room and I'd advise wearing a medical mask to reduce fume intake. I dyed mine in the garage with the overhead door open and a mask. (Doctor approved FYI.)

You should be okay. Consult your doctor first though. My doctor said it was fine after 13 weeks, but to stay away from bleach. My hair is dark, and I had my hair colored at 15 weeks and was fine.

I'm a stylist I colored my hair during my entire pregnancy. I also colored clients hair everyday. The dr didn't have a problem with it. Just have good ventilation
