Hot dog?

Can I eat a hot dog? I want nothing more than a yummy hot dog, but I'm pretty sure I read or heard or was told I can't! Anyone else eating hot dogs out there? 😊

Completely fine. The primary concern is nitrites and nitrates, but honestly, my oldest is probably 3/4 hot dogs and Mountain Dew and he's just fine. If you're craving it-- eat it!

Buy nitrate free at grocery store. Traditional hot dogs are filled with chemicals not good for baby...

You can have them just not all the time. It has to be piping hot and properly cooked. Same as sausage. I wouldn't buy a hot dog from a stand or a truck I would make your own as a treat once in a while. My mom craved them when she was pregnant with me and would treat herself once a week and I'm perfectly fine lol

I think i read hot dogs are ok right off the grill. ..idk about any other methods
