Scars

I have scars on my legs from years of being an active kid and getting scratched up. However they have not gone away and I'm self conscious about it. I'm worried that I'm gonna be having sex with my boyfriend and he's gonna see them and ask. I'm not ashamed I'm just slightly self conscious about it. It's always depicted with women who have smooth skin. What should I do
