Anyone planning to leave their job and stay home?

I'm a teacher and I want to stay home, and I want to know how/when other moms are talking to their bosses about leaving.

I'm thinking about it. My husband and I currently live in different states for our jobs and see each other about 9 days a month. When baby comes in September we are going to have to be in the same place. I will have to move back, and I feel bad because I took this job last March and it is great and thre people are awesome but my husband can't find a job in his field closer than 3 hours to where I am, so I am pretty sure I will be leaving my job in November after my husband has to go back when his paternity leave is up. Not sure how I'm going to tell my boss. It's 8 months away and I'm already dreading telling him and my coworkers.

If my husband gets 100% disabled through the VA I'll have to stay home with him and our kids because he won't be able to do much of the house work. Especially if the baby is born by then. I'm due 8/1/16 & hoping it doesn't take that long.

I would LOVE to be able to stay home but my husband is a custodian and even with living with my parents we wouldn't be able to afford to live on one income.

I did! My husband and I planned on me being a SAHM even before we got married! Lol I quit at 32 weeks (and had my son at 37 weeks!)
My baby is 3 months now and I couldn't imagine having to leave him and go back to work! You won't regret it if you do! 😉
