Vaccinate or not vaccinate

Okay I believe you should vaccinate your child 100%. But I was just wondering why everyone is so pissed that other moms chose not to. They say if someone doesn't vaccinate their child and gets polio or something that it can get there child sick. But if they are vaccinated how can it get them sick?? I'm just kinda confused about the whole thing. NO BASHING!
