Anybody out there?

Question

Hi ladies, I was wondering if there was anyone out there in the same situation as me! I'm currently waiting my results to find out if I have something called 'Cushing syndrome' is there anyone out there with the same thing, I could really do with some help and advice??

My husband's cousin had cushing's. It's pretty rare, so it took them forever to figure it out. She probably had it for a few years. Although I'm a nurse, and I swear she looked just like the cushing's patient example in our text book. She was having a lot of problems, esepically with her blood sugar. So they thought she was a type 2 diabetic, but they still couldn't control her blood sugars. Anyways, long story short, she finally got some answers at the mayo clinic. She had an MRI which showed the tumor on her pituitary gland. She had surgery to remove the tumor and is doing much, much better. Still dealing with some issues, but overall, a significant difference since the tumor was removed. Good luck!
