is spotting before your period while on the pill normal?

I'm on the pill and I take it on time everyday. this is the first month I've Been spotting a very small amount just a few days prior to my period.

Yeah it is! I got this on my second cycle on the pill. I even had a bit of a heavy bleed about a week before, it lasted two days and I was super worried but I'd never ever missed a pill or taken any late so I put it down to breakthrough bleeding! Then about 3 days before I got light spotting and then started freaking out so bad about implantation bleeding and it happened right up until the bleed came (four days in) I was SO relieved. It's normal to get like odd bleeding and stuff whilst on the pill, it's sending your hormones wild haha
