What could be wrong?!

I think I either just had implantation bleeding or I just started my period. I went to the bathroom wiped and it was brown/pink/dark red blood, so I put a pad on nothing yet, I had implantation bleeding with my son but it was bright red and a drop, it's stopped so I should know in about two days. My periods usually start with bright red and is a heavy flow until about the fifth day that's why I'm considering maybe it is implantation bleeding. It won't come out on a pad only when I wipe which is no where near a "normal" period for me... Once I have on gush of blood it just doesn't stop. What you think?
