Spotting bleeding is similar bleeding like the period?

Need help!! I got my normal period on feb 8-11 then 12 days later of my last day of my regular period i started bleeding again on feb24th to feb29th the first day was light then last me for 5 days the bleeding and it was heavy.. I did a blood pregnancy test on march 5th was negative.. I dnt know it just because was too soon to test. And im still this month of march I m expecting my period between march 8-10.. My concern is that i know spotting bleeding has to be pink light but i bled dark heavy.. I though the bleeding was caused by implantation but was heavy bleeding.. I dnt know what to do if should wait if i get my period this month if i dont i guess i gotta see the doctor... But still i dont know what the bleeding twice the month could be??
