zika virus

my hubby wants to take me on a trip to bahamas for our anniversary. we are ttc n i hear it isnt good to travel with zika out. he didnt seem too bummed about not going. am i overreacting? we been ttc for 19 months, i dont want any other issues. i read thsy child bearin women shouldnt travel to carribesns due to zika
