Eloping!

Ladies what are your views on eloping? My boyfriend and I have been talking about eloping lately and I want to do it. My reason behind eloping is so we will be legally married but can save up the money to eventually have the perfect wedding. Should we elope or wait to have the money and just get married when we have a wedding?!
