New mom!

I'm going to be a first time mom and there's tons of things I don't know and tons I'll probably never know! This app is awesome to find quick answers to questions you happen to come across. Late night thinking of what I'll need to pack in the hospital bag just before I go into labour, I've seen people post things about taking formula even if you're planning on breastfeeding, just incase you maybe can't produce or baby doesn't take to breastfeeding. Is this a necessity or does the hospitals usually supply this? I want to make sure I have everything prepared, thanks in advance!!
