Pepper spray?

Would you or do you carry pepper spray to defend yourself? I'm going on a trip to NY soon and was thinking about buying some pepper spray... But I'm not sure if I should.

No I would not use pepper spray. You will be better off just holding your keys between your fingers, like little knives and punching. Pepper spray is not effective on many people. And you most likely will end up in the cloud of spray because that shit expands and burn the shit out of your eyes, blinding yourself as the bad guy blinks it off and attacks you.

I carry pepper spray with me at all times, especially at night. Using your keys as a weapon will not deter someone from trying to hurt because they have to be very close to you for your keys to even do anything to them. I would definitely recommend it. Just remember that if you're traveling, you can not take them on the plane or carry on so make sure to make it away :)

I say you can never be too cautious!! I use to carry Pepper Spray because I worked late at nights and had to walk to my car by myself!! Where I worked wasn't even in a bad area but crazy people don't only do crazy things in bad places!! I personally have a taser now!! 😁 I can say I've never had to use it but still... I have it if I need it!!
