Is it time to go to the Doctor??

Question

I was told at 17 I may have endometreosis I never followed up with it because of fear i guess. Now, Me 29, & my fiance' 36 have been trying for 5 yrs (pull out sometimes) & 1 yr consistently. I've been leaving it in Gods hands & really, just scared to go find out bad news. He already has 2 wonderful boys (9 &14) I'm 4 days late right now & I'm really wanting to take a test. But, for some reason everytime I'm late & take a test I start the next day. Keeping my fingers crossed this time & then if negative maybe  doctor time? Did I wait to late?

I was told the same when I was 16 (I'm 29 now) and when I finally got pregnant (we had been trying for a while too) my OBGYN told me at my very first appointment unless I had a D&C it should have never been diagnosed. He said I may or may not have it as we do have a family history of 3 generations of the diagnosis, but you should really talk to your OBGYN about getting a real diagnosis at this point. 
In regard to the TTC, we got so depressed that it wasn't happening that we just stopped trying, stopped tracking, and stopped planning. We went on vacation over thanksgiving and apparently got pregnant sometime during that week when it was the farthest thing from our minds. Maybe you and hubs should plan something for you and stop fretting. ❤️  it will happen when it is supposed to!
