Problems after epidural....

So i was induced at 37 weeks and ended up with an emergency c section because baby wrapped the cord around his stomach. They gave me the epidural which numbed everything but the right side of my stomach so i ended up with a spinal tap which took them an hour an a half to do because of the fluids from the epidural. Ever since the c section i have been stuttering really bad and constantly tripping over my words to the point where i stop talking because its so frustrating. I was wondering if the epidural could have anything to do with this ?
