Freaking out...thoughts?

I had a craving for Panera so I went and got the steak and arugula sandwich. Steak was medium done, but cold, treated like a cold cut, I gobbled it down cuz it was so tasty, now I can't sleep wondering if I've made a terrible mistake and am gonna get listeriosis...anyone else in my boat?? :(

You're fine... I eat lunch meat all the time. You can get listeria from fresh fruits and vegetables too. I try and keep the mind set that if it happens then it was meant to. You can't not eat...

I eat lunch meat, you just have to heat it up first. If you ate the sandwich for lunch and it's already dinner time and you haven't gotten sick, you're going to be fine. Stop worrying.

I totally did the same thing, got halfway through my sub before I even thought about what I was eating. Talk to anyone who's been pregnant more than once to help calm your fears. :-)
