Put our dog down 😭

Thank you all for your advice on how to tell our children. We decided that we wanted to give them the chance to say goodbye. I told them after school yesterday that she was really sick and we were going to take her to the vet and she might be going to heaven. After talking to the vet, we all decided it was time. There were a lot of tears, major heartbreak but we did what was best for her. I am still pretty devastated and miss her dearly. The kids are adjusting well enough as is our other dog.
