Stressed siblings - 2 year old.
I was wondering if anyone else had been through a similar thing and how long it lasted.
I am due 10th may with baby number 2. Our little boy is 2 and has always been an amazing sleeper from about 5 weeks old. For the last month he had been waking once/twice sometimes three times during the night. There is no pattern to his waking times. Sometimes he wakes up in a tantrum, sometimes it's more of an upset cry, sometimes it's a whimper.
I try to remain strong and go in, give him a cuddle and kiss and then leave the room again. Then I usually have to lie there and listen to him cry and cry for about half an hour before he goes back to sleep.
I really want this nipped in the bud before the baby comes and it's really starting to get me down now..
Please tell me I'm not alone here and that it won't last much longer 😢
It breaks my heart seeing & hearing him so upset/angry/tired when he's such a brilliant boy normally
