Engaged but wedding is called off.

Hi, I've been engaged since April 2014, I was due to marry on April 17th 2016. His dad came and called off the wedding to my parents 6 weeks ago and not once has my fiancé come to my house to clear things out or even say that his dad was wrong for doing what he did! Cause of this my parents feel like I'm chasing him and want me to just call it off. I'm honestly confused about the situation I am in. Any advice would help a lot! Thanks in advance x
