Blue dye (long post)
I was talking to my obgyn after I had my miscarriage and I asked him the normal why me questions and he told me that this wasn't my fault that women have 2-3 miscarriages and don't even know about them because the hcg never gets high enough before it aborts itself in what makes women think is a normal period. So we'll I was questioning everything and upset I needed to know if blue dye tests were really as bad as they seem. I got all my positives on blue dye and everyone kept saying its an indent or its a false positive take a pink dye (all pink dye were negative BTW and my pregnancy was confirmed by blood work). Well my tests weren't false positives and weren't indents but just to be sure and have my own little experiment I took the left over blue dye test I had when I knew my hcg was back at zero (confirmed by blood work) and it was flat negative. There was not even close to a second line. So the point of this post is to say if u get a positive test on a blue dye then never just assume its not because it could be retest and them take a pink dye three days later. Good luck and baby dust to all I hope this post helps someone sitting in front of a test wondering or crying because they think it can't be true.
