Tell or don't tell ?!!

So me and my boyfriend are 19 years apart  19 and he's 39 I love him and all but I think I'may be too young for him he's never disrespect me or cheated on me in the past year we've been together he has 2 kids and a ex wife I'm tired of having to sneak around to see him so my parents won't find and I'm sure he's getting tired of it as well should I tell my family or break up with him ? Is our age difference really bad ? Be totally honest I can take it 😉

I grew up with my mom always telling me that if it has to be a secret than it is not worth it. Your parents maybe surprised but it is better for them to know. You are of legal age to be dating him so there is not an issue there. But I think being honest and upfront is the best policy.

Y'all are in two entirely different stations in life. If he makes you happy then that's the most important thing, but that is a huge age gap. You can't even drink yet, there's so much college (if you want to go) and life to do, and he's already done that twice over. How old are his kids? I mean.. I would just feel weird about that, personally.

My parents are 18 yrs appart. My mom was 19 when they met. He had been divorced twice with three kids. They had me less than a year later... They are still together. I was taught age doesnt matter, but it depends on the maturity level on both parties and trying and wanting to make it work.

But on a serious note. If you really love him , then tell your parents , be open about it. I'm sure they'll have a huge problem about the age gap bc he's probably as old as your father , but if they want to see you happy then they'll except it. 
I personally think you shouldn't be w. Him , sooner or later you'll realize why. The age gap will really cause issues because you're young & you still want to have fun & live your life,  he's lived his life , he has 2kids & an ex wife... You see where I'm getting at?

The age gap seems extreme. If you trust one of your parents or maybe an aunt or uncle talk to them about it.

Honestly, one of my best friends, is was in this exact situation not too long ago. She was the same age as you and her boyfriend was the same age as yours. Her mom knew, but her dad didn't at the time since they are divorced. Her boyfriend has 2 children as well, but two different mothers, one of whom he was actually married to. I would honestly just come clean to your parents first, because if you are both happy you shouldn't have to keep anything a secret. You are legally an adult, and obviously so is he. If you two want to be together, then be together. In the end, it's primarily up to you.

My husband is 16 1/2 years older than me, and we started dating when I was 21. My parents were not thrilled about it at all, but once they saw how happy he makes me, they stopped caring about his age and started to like him.
I'd start by simply introducing him to them. You can do it somewhere casually, like at lunch or dinner somewhere.
If you continue to keep him a secret, it's going to make him feel like you're ashamed of him or something.
