Am I being dumb?

So my boyfriend of almost 2 years and I are at a rough patch right now. We aren't really together right now but still talk every day and do the things that a couple would. I am hoping we will get back together. Am I being dumb by still being romantic with him and maybe by the end he won't want to get back together with me.

I would cut him off. Don't give him all the benefits of being in a relationship if he doesn't really want to be with you.

He now knows he has you with out the commitment, if he's going to continue to do romantic stuff why not just be serious. It can end bad or good but your going to drive yourself crazy when he starts doing stuff you don't want him too and all he's going to tell you, is "we're not even together". So either he's commited to you or not but don't continue to hurt yourself :/ good luck
