ACID REDUCER PRODUCT SAFE?

ULCER. hpylori.
is it safe to take this acid reducer while pregnant? I'm 6 weeks today my ulcer is acting up. Just need some relief. 
It's a 20.6 mg Delayed-Release Capsule and it usually just takes one capsule to help. 
Any advice?

Proton pump reducers which is what you have there are not safe during the first trimester. They are once you hit second trimester.

I've been taking that but only in the late in third trimester. I was told it's not safe early in pregnancy or for an extended amount of time. I would consult your doctor for sure. Rolaids seem to work better than tums.

I would call your nurse line to be sure ... Some things were off limits during the first trimester

I do not have an ulcer but my OBGyn gave the ok for tums and liquid antacid for intense heartburn (luckily it worked for me) and said we'd move up from there only if necessary to Prevacid or Nexium.
