HPV & pregnant?

I have my first prenatal appt next week at 8w. I have one very small skin tag appearance outside of my genital area (not on it) and I am worried it could be genital warts. I am preparing myself for the worst but hoping it is just a skin tag being that it is only one & is right where the seem of my underwear would lay ( causing irritation). Anyway has anyone had HPV while pregnant? How has that affected you?
