Baby in the car?

If you got out to get a movie at redox and parked in front of the kiosk, would you be okay to leave the baby in the car, even if you left the car on and could see the baby?

Being within reach like that, I think you're fine. Being out of sight or in a building is illegal.

Nope. Don't care the circumstances. Not leaving my kid in a car. I'm too paranoid for that.

I've done it. I don't leave the car running though. It's locked and I'm literally 10 feet from it. Baby is no safer next to me at redbox than waiting in the car 10 feet from me. I never go further though.

If I was literally right in front of my car and it was locked for the two minutes it takes then yes I wouldn't take them out for that. If I couldn't park right there and it was across the parking lot then I would carry them with me.

I would not leave it running, too many horror stories about running cars being stolen with a baby in the back seat! I'm super paranoid about that kind of stuff. If I was parked RIGHT in front of the redbox, baby could stay in the car as long as I have the key (button)

I actually did this. My son 2 at the time leaned over and locked the doors. Dumbest thing I could have done, needless to say I had to wait 20 minutes for AAA to come unlock the doors. Now I never leave him in the car, take him out wherever.

I would but only because I have a push to start. With my 7 year old when I get out the car for something like that I leave the car on and take the keys out of the car with me and lock the doors.

Yes. My car is a push to start but you have to have the key inside the car in order to drive and once I get far enough, the doors automatically lock. So there would be no driving off with my kid. You'd get the the outlet and the car would lockdown until I unlock it with the button.

I may be in the minority, but  I am so paranoid of what ifs I really couldn't. I make sure to open their door too before even closing mine just in case. I'm just really nervous with things.
