When should u take ur tampon out? Can it cause a problem?

If u keep a tampon in too long then there is a thing called toxic shock syndrome and that is where ur tampon is ready to be tuken out and its full and u don't take it out then the blood will dry and get  stuck up in your vagina then it will cause u to have a toxic shock syndrome that will cause u to go to the hospital if it's really bad. This can also cause a yeast infection. That's why I wear pads but I'm not totally against tampons I would just make sure to take them out at least every 4 hours. I know some people are against pads and that's fine but u should set a timer on your phone or time yourself so u know when to change ur tampon and if u do this then u won't have to worry.☺

You shouldn't wear a pad for more than 8 hours as well by the way. It's not as likely to give you TSS but it's still bad for you. And I think you should google more about toxic shock syndrome because I'm not sure you fully understand what it is (not being mean, just saying)

You can leave tampons in for 4-8 hours. TSS is unlikely to occur if you leave it for 8 hours and a minute or whatever. It's when you leave it in for much much longer. I'm not trying to be mean but I think you should read up about the real causes of TSS before you post things like this, as you explained completely wrong here. Blood can't dry in a wet environment. It's caused by old blood decaying, and the bacteria getting into your bloodstream. Read up about it. Tampons won't kill you if you use them correctly, otherwise they wouldn't be on the market.
