Bartholin cyst

I had my third bartholin cyst. I got it cut open and drained and had a word catheter in my labia for 10 days. Got it taken out a week ago. My question is, would the cut where the catheter in my labia be closed already ? And also weird question but its been almost a month since ive had intercourse, would it be safe to masterbate? Im gonna call my gyno tomorrow for an appt. But i just wanted to know a little head of time.
