Hey ladies , so quick question how far along do u have to be to not fly on a plane anymore (being pregnant )

Also after birth how old does the baby have to be to get on a plane ?

Depends on your history of pregnancy. I think 36 weeks is pushing it and airlines have their own maximum so make sure to check that. Also beware of clots, pregnant women are more prone to them. I would wait to fly with a infant for a couple months. Planes have no air circulation and are not sanitized. Little babies are way to susceptible to illnesses.

I depends where you are flying? Overseas airlines require a medical certificate after 24-26 weeks and travel insurance is difficult after that too. Domestic may be longer - and you can normally find the info on each airlines website

Ask your doctor, mine cleared me to fly through 36 weeks and we have flights booked three weeks after the due date for a wedding.

My dr said 36 weeks but I took a Drs note with me when I flew at 28 weeks just to be sure the airline wouldn't give ms any issues.

36 weeks I think is the latest if I remember correctly. And I don't think there is an age limit on how old they have to be, but I would probably give it a good month to get them out and about breathing air and such to develop a bit.

I flew very regularly during my pregnancy. My dr.'s cut-off was 30w!
