2nd baby blues?

Wondering if anyone else who may be on pregnancy #2 isnt feeling the same excitment as baby #1? I was so excited to get pregnant with my second child and now that i am, im not feeling the same excitment...we tried for a little over a year and lost one during that time....that was really hard for me but we got past it. So here am i am now 12 weeks and im not feeling the same way as i did with my son who will be 3 in April. Im more nervous about the dymanic changing...i just love my son so much i dont know how im going to love another baby the same. Everyone tells me this is normal but i feel like a bad mom for not being excited this time around. It feels weird having these feelings. :(

My daughter is 11 & I'm curious to see how I'm gonna love my 2 babies the same. Plus she started her period last week and I'm like OMG she's really NOT a baby anymore 😭😭😭😭 😀

This is exactly the same, but this is my first child and it's my SO 3rd child...I can tell that I have more excitement than him...Could this be due to the same reason you ladies are feeling the way you do? Not that he doesn't love me or the fact that we are having a baby, it's just hard for him to imagine living another child besides his first two? He is a wonderful father and that's why I fell in love with him...

I hope you ladies are able to feel the excitement, even if it has to wait til you're holding that sweet one in your arms! I know I sure am 😊

I feel exactly the same! I thought I was alone and have been suffering from prenatal blues... I'm so nervous how I'll handle two and I love my daughter so much! People say it's a normal feeling but it still sucks and feels so out of the norm so I totally get you!
