Incompetent Cervix and TTC
At 16+4 our son was born, way too soon and did not make it.
It was a natural birth with no D&C/E.
My doctor said the baby, whose heart was beating right up until the miscarriage, was lost because I have an incompetent cervix.
He also said that he wanted us to wait 6 months before TTC again. This feels like a really long time to me, especially when I read about so many successful pregnancies occurring right after a miscarriage & see studies published saying there is no need to wait.
Has anyone else lost a baby at 16+ weeks and gone on to have a successful pregnancy immediately after?
