My BF of 6 years hasn't had sex with me for a month. Prior to that we did have any for 3 months because I was upset. I'm waiting and waiting and nothing. A friend of mine (10 years older than me) invited me out tomorrow, I know he likes me and I know nothing is going to happen, but I miss that part were your SO makes you feel important and happy. Should I cancel that ?

I wouldn't appreciate my boyfriend hanging out with his friend that's is a woman that likes him no matter what our situation was and I doubt he'd appreciate you doing so. Sounds like you guys need to have a talk and communicate more. Figure out what's going on in your relationship. If I couldn't sleep with my boyfriend for three months for something I doubt we'd still be together. Seems like there are "issues" to be discussed. Yes, cancel.

Cancel immediately. If he likes you he's going to try to impress you and you're gonna fall for it because youre upset with your SO and cause he doesn't give you the attention you want. That's how cheating happens even if you swear you won't. It's in the moment. Cancel it so nothing happens and have a serious talk with your man. Tell him how you feel, open up to him and try to make him tell you what's going on. Maybe he has something on his mind? Ask him. Talk about it. Communication is very important. I'm a very strong believer that you are obliged to stay faithful to your partner. What you are dealing with does sound very upsetting, and I've been through the same thing with my partner. We really had to reconnect and fix some things about our relationship. 
Before you make your decision, make sure to completely consider your SO's feelings to you being unfaithful. Also be sure not to make a mistake just because you're going through a rough patch. I wish you the best!!

It's not okay to go out with another guy when you're in a relationship. Cancel it. I'm in an open relationship and I know I still wouldn't be okay with my BF doing that or I doing that. Dating of any kind is not allowed.
