Car Seat Install Unsafe?

Is my seat installed wrong since it hangs out from the seat? Besides that it's seems very secure in the way that it is super sturdy and doesn't wobble when we try to shake it by any means. Did we have to buy a smaller car seat?

I was told the base had to not hang over. But mine did.  My seat is very skinny and I could not find one to fit.  The state police post in my area will check for safety for free. You could see if yours will

Go to car seats for littles on Facebook they have amazing people that will help u and u can just send them a pic or video and they answer super fast. Also go to carseatcheck.org to find certified techs to check everything for u and help u install ur seat for free :)

It looks good. Just make sure you read the manual to be absolutely sure AND your car vechicle manual to be sure where and how your placing it in your specific vechicle is correct.
