Group B Strep Antibiotics
I'm a first time mom, trying to go as natural as possible with pregnancy and labor. I'm 38 weeks pregnant and positive for Group B Strep. My Doctor says they will give me antibiotics for it when I go into labor so that I can avoid my baby getting any health problems caused by it. But I'd love to stay away from antibiotics if possible and I wondered if any of you mommys had refused treatment and if so, would you recomend it? I read on google about a mom who refused treatment for herself and the baby and the hospital called CPS on her. I don't want that drama but also don't want antibiotics if not 100% necessary. I'd appreciate any feedback! Thank you!
