Too early to see sex?

Our appt to find out the sex of the baby is April 4th. I'll be 16 weeks, 4 days. My doctors are confident that we will be able to tell since we are doing an in depth ultrasound, but I've had people tell me it's too early?? Did you see the sex this early? Was it accurate?

I saw the gender at 16 weeks even and it was accurate. My anatomy scan at 20 weeks verified.

I found out at 15 weeks and 2 days that I'm having a girl.... and it's clearly a girl... so you should definitely be able to see by 16 weeks

I did 16 weeks exactly! But this baby found out at nearly 11 weeks via genetics tests

Drink orange juice or a sugary drink just before the appointment to get the baby moving. They should be able to tell if the baby cooperates

It can be too early to completely confirm but usually you can get an educated guess at that point.
