Increased fetal movement?

I'm 36 weeks and have noticed a significant increase in fetal movement. Last night the baby moved consistently for about an hour. Anyone else had this? Should I be worried since movement usually decreases by this time? Or could this be a sign baby is almost ready to be here? Thanks.

Baby is getting bigger, so any little movement you would've missed them making before, you're now feeling! They're right up on the sides of your uterus so if they shift the arm slightly you can tell. I love it! I'm 36 weeks as well 😄

this happened to me up until I got the epidural and couldn't feel anything! some babies are just super active!

This happened to me last night it's like she had a bust of energy 39 weeks exactly I thought it was strange and that I was overreacting

I noticed an increase at 36 weeks as well! And then a serious decrease at 38 +4. It was strange
