Baby still not in head up position going on to 37 weeks! :(
Had an ultrasound at 32 weeks and it showed that my baby's head wasn't all the way down but was in a promising position. Did one more ultrasound at 36 weeks and found that the head still isn't down and it's even in a worse position! Head up on the left, bum down on the left and legs up on the right. I have been seeing a chiropractor thought the whole pregnancy but I'm not sure if she was practicing that method for moving a baby since it was OK at that point. My OB said to just stay on my feet alot and we will "play it by ear" and tentatively schedule a C-section around my due date. She said there was nothing else I could do. Doing research online shows that there are lots of exercises I could be doing though so I have been trying them anyways. I really really really wanted to try for a medication free birth and now I might not have a choice but to miss out on it all together. First pregnancy and I'm disappointed and frustrated. Is there any hope? And why is my OB not telling me enough? I have been sleeping on my left side every night since I conceived and was thinking maybe that played a role in the bad positioning but I was told it was for optimal circulation, so I'm trying some nights on my right side buts it's a bit uncomfortable and I'm worried baby won't get enough blood flow. Am I right in this?
