Ovarian cyst?

Ok so today me and my boyfriend were having sex and when he trusted I was getting this weird achy pain on one side of my lower abdomen. I looked it up and came across ovarian cysts. Idk if that's really what it is or not but if anyone has any information on it and if there's anything I should do that would be really helpful. I read that they are common and usually go away on their own but idk maybe it's the name of it that's making me nervous.
