What's the oldest guy you've dated?

I'm 25, will be 26 later this year. I was able to get into a 35 and up club for someone's birthday and met a guy that's 39 so we have mutual friends. He's 14 years younger than me. He texts me all the time, we've hung out and talk on the phone. Seems like he really likes me but I'm not completely sure yet. Oh and he has two kids 7 and 10 and I have none. Would you date someone 14 years older, why or why not. And do you think it's possible he really wants a relationship. Only known him a month. He's tried to kiss me before but that's it

He could just be a thirsty fuckboy because that's possible going into any new relationship lol but let's say he's not.

If you really like him and don't have a problem with him having kids and you hit it off well enough that you do want to pursue an actual relationship with this person, I wouldn't let his age alone stop you. It really hasn't been long enough for you to get to know him yet. Unless you have a personal problem with the number, the only thing that should stop you is if you both want completely different things right now (marriage vs hookups, that kind of thing) or if he thinks it's okay to treat you like a child because you're younger. That's a deal breaker.

My boyfriend is almost exactly 11 years older than me. It was a kind of weird concept in me beginning because even though I'm usually attracted to older men and I'm mature for my age (19) actually being in a relationship with someone is different than the idea of it. Our ages haven't caused any problems with us because we're both adults and we want the same things from the relationship. He has two kids as well (3 & 6) from his previous marriage and I don't have any or want any anytime soon but I don't hold his past against him and I know that he's a good man, he just married the wrong person.

But from my experiences I can say that I probably wouldn't date someone 14 years older unless I knew that they were single for real reasons, if that makes sense? If they're that old and still want to play around then that's probably something you want to avoid.
