Negative test but no AF either

I am 8 days late with AF. CM is white creamy. Little to no stress, off birth control for about 1-2 months. Is it possible to be pregnant? I tested negative with 6 and 7 days late as well. Would I be able to tell this early? am I making a phantom baby out of my head up? I'm so confused. Should I go to the doctor. I've asked before most say just wait and test till either AF or a positive. I don't know what to do anymore. Do blood test tell quicker than a urine? I need some info! Thanks.
