39.1 weeks

39.1 weeks today and I went to weekly check up and my doctors told me I am not dilated but my cervix is very thin. I know this might sound a bit selfish but I was crying because I was hoping for some progress since last week I wasn't dilated. I feel like since I've gone on maternity leave I've been playing a waiting game and I just want to spend as much time with my baby before I have to go back to work. A month doesn't seem enough to bond with him 24/7 :( now I have to go back next week (assuming I'm not pregnant) and monitor his growth and then I'll have to be induced. I've had a good pregnancy until I hit 36 weeks... Since I hit 36 weeks everything's changed and been harder for me.
